FLSA After-Care Responsibilities:
  • Provide After-Care from 3:00
  • 5:00 PM on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays; Wednesdays from 2:00
  • 5:00 PM
  • Assist the Director of Marketing and Communications with information describing the After-Care program.
  • Develop and maintain After-Care policies and guidelines
  • Develop and post behavior guidelines for students participating in After-Care
  • Be responsible for all communications, scheduling, staffing including substitutes/coverage, programming, safety, and problem-solving for the After-Care program in conjunction with Human Resources
  • Update and maintain the binder of student health emergency plans & Veracross contact information. Shred all student information annually after close of program
  • Train and orient staff/substitutes on emergency procedures including: o Location of first aid kit o Location of Crossroads Academy Emergency Plan, student health emergency plans, and parent contact information. o After-Care policies, guidelines, and student behavior expectations
  • Print daily rosters
  • Maintain program space in a neat and orderly fashion

  • Such other duties as may be assigned to you
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Develop and maintain proficiency in computer skills including Veracross, Google, Word documents
  • Effectively communicate orally and in writing
  • Establish and maintain cooperative and effective working relationships with others
  • Be creative and energetic
  • Maintain healthy and appropriate boundaries with all students and school community members
  • Maintain appropriate confidentiality
  • Ability to frequently remain stationary, position self to communicate with students, and occasionally move throughout the room and campus
  • Pass a state and federal background check
Attendance:
  • 2:45
  • 5:00 PM on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays; Wednesdays from 1:45
  • 5:00 PM
