Job Description

We are a growing healthcare practice with three Long Island locations in Moriches, Port Jefferson Station, and Sayville. We are looking for a motivated, entrepreneurial-minded recent graduate to help us build something. This is a newly created position — which means you won't be stepping into a rigid job description. You'll help shape the role itself as you go, taking ownership of operations, credentialing, billing, and practice support across our locations. If you're the kind of person who thrives in a fast-moving environment, likes solving problems without a playbook, and wants to grow with an organization rather than just fill a seat — this is that opportunity.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Revenue cycle management (RCM) — tracking claims, identifying gaps, and supporting the full billing lifecycle Accounts receivable tracking, analysis, and follow-up Patient account collections and follow-up Reporting and data management in Excel — building and maintaining spreadsheets that support business decisions Documenting and building SOPs from existing workflows — turning what we do into repeatable, organized processes Organizing records, files, and operational data across the practice Provider credentialing and insurance enrollment support Patient registration and data entry Front and back office coverage as needed Contributing to financial reporting and practice performance analysis
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Bachelor's degree in business administration, accounting, management, or related field — recent grads encouraged to apply Proficient in Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivot tables, spreadsheet management) Strong computer skills and ability to learn new software quickly Self-starter who can figure things out independently and take ownership without being micromanaged Comfortable with variety and ambiguity — this role covers a lot of ground and evolves as we grow Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills Genuine interest in healthcare and patient-centered service
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
$18 - $22/hr • 35 hours guaranteed, with potential for additional hours Paid time off (PTO) accrual begins from day one 401(k) with company match after one year — a benefit most entry-level positions don't offer
WHY THIS ROLE IS WORTH IT
Ground-floor opportunity at a growing practice — you'll have real input into how this role and our operations develop Learn billing, revenue cycle, credentialing, and operations — a complete foundation, not a narrow specialty Healthcare administration is a growing field — this experience is directly relevant and highly transferable Real, resume-building work from day one — not filing and coffee runs
Pay:
$18.00 - $22.00 per hour
