Job Description

We are currently seeking a friendly, organized, and motivated Healthcare Coordinator to join our growing medical team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working directly with patients and thrives in a fast-paced healthcare environment. In this role, you will help ensure that patients receive excellent service from the moment they contact or arrive at the office. The ideal candidate is compassionate, detail-oriented, and comfortable balancing administrative and clinical support responsibilities.

Primary Responsibilities:
Coordinate daily patient scheduling and appointment flow Greet and assist patients in person and by phone Support providers with patient follow-up coordination Confirm insurance eligibility and assist with authorization requests Maintain accurate documentation within the electronic health record system Obtain and document patient vital signs as needed Assist with general front office and patient support duties
Requirements:
At least one year of experience in a medical office setting required Prior experience as a Patient Care Coordinator, Medical Assistant, or similar healthcare support role preferred Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems, preferably eClinicalWorks (eCW) Strong customer service and communication skills Ability to manage multiple responsibilities efficiently Highly organized with strong attention to detail
Schedule:
Three days per week (flexible) 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
