The Deputy Program Manager, Medical Coding Programs supports the operational management and day-to-day execution of Mindseeker's Defense Health Agency (DHA) medical coding programs. This role works closely with the Senior Program Manager and Quality Control & Training Manager to ensure high-quality service delivery and operational efficiency across large, distributed teams of medical coding professionals. The Deputy Program Manager focuses on operational execution and workforce performance to ensure mission success and contract compliance. Key Responsibilities:
Support the day-to-day operational management of medical coding programs supporting the Defense Health Agency. Monitor program performance to ensure coding productivity, accuracy, and completion requirements are met. Track workload volumes, staffing levels, and operational metrics to support efficient service delivery. Provide operational oversight and guidance to coding supervisors, coding leads, and remote coding staff. Promote a high-performing team culture through clear communication, accountability, and engagement. Participate in client meetings and operational reviews to ensure alignment of performance expectations and program needs. Support quality assurance activities and performance monitoring for coding services. Ensure program activities align with contractual requirements, coding standards, and applicable regulations. Assist with program reporting, performance tracking, and continuous improvement initiatives. Assist in maintaining program documentation, standard operating procedures, and internal knowledge resources. Other Duties:

Education Bachelor's degree in business administration, healthcare management, health information management, or related field. Experience 5+ years of experience supporting healthcare operations, medical coding programs, or federal staffing and/or services contracts. Experience managing or supporting large remote teams. Experience with the Defense Health Agency, Military Health System, or other federal healthcare environments. (preferred) Skills Operational leadership and workforce coordination Program oversight and workflow management Data analysis and performance monitoring Excellent written and verbal communication Behavioral Success Competencies:
