Director, Mental Health Services Make a Real Difference in Student Mental Health Are you a skilled leader passionate about mental health and education? Wellness Together is looking for a dynamic Program Manager to oversee our School-Based Mental Health Programs. In this role, you won't just manage operations—you will ensure that students at our partner schools receive high-quality, dependable, and data-driven mental health services. Key Responsibilities As the Program Manager, you will lead the charge in planning, organizing, and directing our school-based programs. Your core focus areas will include:
Supervision & Team Leadership:
Manage, mentor, and evaluate a team including the Assistant Program Manager, Program Coordinators, Team Leads, and Counseling Staff. Place counselors in school environments where they will thrive.
Program Oversight & Support:
Serve as a reliable lifeline (on-call during school hours) for clinical staff. Monitor progress notes, timesheets, caseloads, and compliance.
Partnership & Collaboration:
Act as the vital bridge between clinical supervisors, counseling staff, and school/district administrators to ensure seamless program implementation.
Compliance & Data Management:
Collect and analyze program data to drive outcomes. Ensure all legal, regulatory, and licensure requirements are strictly met.
Training & Development:
Identify growth opportunities for your team, leading onboarding efforts and facilitating impactful monthly staff meetings.
What We Are Looking For Education & Licensing:
Required:
Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, Business, Education, or a related field.
Preferred:
Master's degree; Active BBS Associate registration, or License number.
Experience:
Required:
2+ years of Management/Leadership experience.
Preferred:
2+ years of school-based experience and 2+ years of mental health field experience.
Skills & Competencies:
A proven track record of leading teams and managing employee performance/discipline with discretion. Deep familiarity with school systems and mental health services, including HIPAA, FERPA, Mandated Reporting (Child Abuse/Tarasoff), and ethical confidentiality requirements. Proficiency with Electronic Health Records (EHR) and Caseload Management Systems. Outstanding communication and conflict-resolution skills. Ability to analyze data to draw meaningful conclusions and improve program efficiency. Work Environment & Travel This position operates in a professional office environment with low-to-moderate noise levels.
Travel:
Regular trips to partnering school districts and specific school sites are required. Reliable transportation is a must.
