Job Description
Job Summary The Virginia Pace Alliance, inc. is a non profit board of directors seeking an Executive Director. The VPA mission is to educate about the PACE model of care and to work to expand access to Pace Programs in VA. We are seeking a dynamic and strategic leader. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the development, implementation, and management of the Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE) initiatives across Virginia. Your leadership will ensure that our PACE programs deliver comprehensive, person-centered care that enhances the quality of life for older adults while maintaining compliance with healthcare standards such as JCAHO accreditation. This role offers an exciting opportunity to shape innovative healthcare management strategies, foster collaborative partnerships, and drive impactful community health outcomes. Responsibilities Lead the strategic planning and operational management of Virginia's PACE programs, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and community needs. Oversee medical management processes to coordinate interdisciplinary care teams that deliver holistic services tailored to each participant. Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, including JCAHO standards, to uphold quality assurance and accreditation requirements. Cultivate strong relationships with healthcare providers, community organizations, and stakeholders to expand access and improve service delivery. Manage program budgets, resources, and staffing to optimize efficiency and sustainability of PACE operations. Monitor program performance metrics, analyze data trends, and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance participant outcomes. Advocate for policies and practices that support aging populations and promote equitable access to comprehensive healthcare services. Qualifications Proven experience in healthcare management or medical management within a community-based or senior care setting. Strong leadership skills with demonstrated success in managing multidisciplinary teams and complex programs. Knowledge of healthcare accreditation standards, particularly JCAHO requirements, is highly desirable. Familiarity with Medicaid/Medicare regulations related to PACE or similar programs is preferred. Excellent communication skills for engaging diverse stakeholders and fostering collaborative relationships. Ability to develop strategic plans, analyze data effectively, and implement innovative solutions for program growth.
