Job Description

The Milligan University School of Sciences and Allied Health is accepting applications for a Simulation Lab Coordinator . This is a full-time, 12-month position that aligns with the academic calendar.
Responsibilities:
The Simulation and Skills Lab Coordinator is responsible for the coordination, development, and management of the interprofessional simulation and skills laboratory supporting the Physician Assistant, Occupational Therapy, and Nursing programs at Milligan University. Duties include but are not limited to: coordinating and managing daily simulation lab operations, scheduling, and equipment; collaborating with faculty to develop, implement, and integrate simulation-based learning activities; designing, facilitating, and evaluating simulation scenarios and debriefings; training students, faculty, and staff in simulation equipment and procedures; maintaining simulation technology, inventory, and lab safety standards; supporting interprofessional education initiatives; collecting and analyzing simulation data and maintaining records; assisting with budget development and identifying funding and partnership opportunities; and participating in recruitment activities, tours, and program support.
Qualifications:
The successful candidate must demonstrate a strong Christian faith, commitment to the University Mission, and a lifestyle consistent with the University's goals. A bachelor's degree in a science or health-related field is required. Healthcare licensure or certification is preferred, and a master's degree in healthcare simulation or related field is preferred. Prior experience in simulation-based education, clinical training, or healthcare education is preferred. The candidate must possess strong technical skills, including experience with simulation equipment and audiovisual systems, along with excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills. The ability to manage multiple priorities, work collaboratively across academic programs, and maintain attention to detail is essential. The candidate must also be able to move between campus buildings and maneuver equipment within the simulation environment.
