Department Summary College of Nursing joins UNT Health offering degree programs alongside: the Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine, School of Biomedical Sciences, School of Public Health, School of Health Professions and College of Pharmacy. The College of Nursing is addressing the shortage of nurses in Texas, which has the second-fewest nurses per capita in the U.S. Position Overview This role is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of a National Center for Complementary and Integrative Health (NCCIH) - funded grant within the College of Nursing at UNT Health Fort Worth. The Program Manager plays a critical leadership role in ensuring the successful execution of the project across multiple sites, coordinating closely with partner institutions, and supporting UNT Health site leads. Key responsibilities include facilitating implementation of study interventions and protocols, database, managing multi-site coordination, generating routine progress and performance reports, and fostering strong collaborations across partner sites and clinical settings to support effective grant implementation. The Program Manager is also responsible for cultivating a supportive, participant-centered, and transformative research environment, ensuring program quality, fidelity, and alignment with grant objectives. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in related field and four (4) years of experience; or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Excel. Ability to analyze situations and data to implement appropriate solutions, and create assessment reports. Detail and service oriented. Ability to plan, organize, and effectively manage multiple assignments and projects. Preferred Qualifications Demonstrate working knowledge of

Job Duties The Program Manager will oversee and coordinate the administrative, operational, and technical components of the NIH-funded auricular acupressure study, ensuring seamless execution across all sites and stakeholders. Managing study operations through REDCap, including database and data quality monitoring, participant tracking, and reporting. Oversee participant scheduling, cohort tracking, and adherence to study timelines, ensuring timely recruitment, follow-up, and retention across rural community sites. Supports academic programs by scheduling meetings and taking and disseminating. Supervise Community Health Workers (CHWs), providing oversight, training coordination, and ongoing support to ensure fidelity to intervention protocols and community engagement strategies. Coordinate and participate in study meetings, manage calendars, schedule rooms and spaces, and prepare and disseminate meeting minutes to study teams. Additional responsibilities include generating routine progress reports, supporting documentation and program evaluation efforts, creating and disseminating surveys for participants, and maintaining organized digital infrastructure (e.g., shared drives, Teams environments). The Program Manager will serve as a liaison with partner sites and clinics. Foster a high-quality, participant-centered, and collaborative research environment, ensuring adherence to NIH standards, protocol fidelity, and successful program outcomes across all sites. Collaborates with site leads across all three study implementation sites. Physical Requirements Communicating with others to exchange information.
