Job Description

Position Overview As a Hearing Instrument Specialist, you will work directly with patients to evaluate hearing needs, recommend hearing solutions, and improve quality of life through better hearing. This role combines patient care, relationship building, and sales in a professional healthcare environment. This position supports our Jackson and Grove Hill, Alabama, clinics and requires travel between both locations. The selected candidate will typically spend three days per week in Jackson and two days per week in Grove Hill. Qualified entry-level candidates are encouraged to apply. American Hearing Care will provide training, mentorship, and support to prepare candidates for the Alabama Hearing Instrument Specialist licensing examination. Responsibilities Conduct hearing evaluations and patient consultations Recommend hearing solutions based on patient needs Promote and sell hearing care products and services Build and maintain patient relationships Meet sales and performance goals Maintain accurate patient records Provide exceptional customer service and follow-up care Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required Strong communication and interpersonal skills Sales, healthcare, retail, or customer service experience preferred Self-motivated and goal-oriented Ability to travel between clinic locations Active Hearing Instrument Specialist license preferred, but not required Compensation & Benefits Base salary of $45,000-$50,000 plus commission Higher starting compensation may be considered based on experience and licensure Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision benefits Training and licensing support for entry-level candidates Career growth opportunities within a growing organization Application Process To ensure fairness, we are unable to accept walk-ins or phone inquiries regarding open positions.
