Non-Certified Personnel 9 Months
Function:
Pre - School Screener or Hearing and Vision Screener.
Reports To:
Child Service Specialist Director of Special Education Services
Relates To:
Child Service Specialist Hearing and Vision Technicians District Personnel Parents
Qualifications:
Associates Degree or Minimum High School Diploma State of Illinois Hearing/Vision Certification Excellent interpersonal skills. Must be able to speak, read and write
English Responsibilities:
Serve as an interpreter for students, staff, and parents. With proper certification, screen district students for vision and hearing. Compile and enter hearing and vision result data into a district computer program in an efficient and timely manner. File and organize results from preschool screenings and submit the information to the assigned coordinator. File and organize results from hearing and vision and submit the information to the assigned coordinator. Performs all other responsibilities as assigned by the Child Service Specialist or Director of Special Education or Designee.
