Job Description

Seeking an Audiology Assistant / Hearing Aid Technician to join our private practice Audiology group. This role plays a vital part in improving patient care, office flow and enhancing the overall efficiency of the practice. Previous experience with audiology and/or hearing aids would be a tremendous asset! Candidate will have strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills. Prior clinical health care experience is preferred. We will consider full time or part time for this position. The position will be based in our Moline, IL location.
Qualifications:
Excellent interpersonal skills with both patients and coworkers Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and critical thinking Comfort with technology and willingness to learn audiology software and equipment Compassionate, patient-centered mindset Patient care experience preferred Prior audiology or hearing aid experience is a strong asset Ability to fill in at our other offices if needed
Responsibilities:
Support audiologists in delivering hearing health care services Hearing aid care: minor repairs, cleanings, connectivity troubleshooting Instruct patients on hearing aid use and maintenance Ensure exam rooms and equipment are clean and ready for use Manage shipping and receiving of new and repaired hearing aids Maintain and manage inventory of supplies Contact patients to schedule appointments or provide additional follow up Provide support to the front office as needed
