Overview Join our dynamic team as an Entry Level Hearing Specialist in a retail environment dedicated to improving lives through better hearing health! This exciting role offers the opportunity to develop foundational skills in patient service, hearing assessments, and product demonstrations while working closely with a supportive team. You'll play a vital part in guiding customers through their journey to better hearing, ensuring they receive personalized attention and expert advice. This paid position is perfect for motivated individuals eager to grow their knowledge of occupational health, physiology, and patient care in a fast-paced, rewarding setting. Duties Greet customers warmly and assess their hearing needs through active listening and basic patient evaluation techniques Assist with the fitting, adjustment, and demonstration of hearing devices, ensuring optimal comfort and performance Educate patients on hearing health, device usage, maintenance, and available solutions tailored to their lifestyle Support the intake process by collecting relevant medical history and understanding basic medical terminology related to hearing health Collaborate with team members to perform patient assessments, including basic physiology and anatomy knowledge related to auditory health Maintain accurate records of patient interactions, including intake forms and assessment notes, adhering to privacy standards Stay informed about product features and industry best practices to effectively communicate benefits to customers Qualifications Strong interest in occupational health, patient service, and healthcare fields with a desire to learn more about hearing health Basic understanding of physiology, anatomy (specifically related to the auditory system), and medical terminology preferred Excellent communication skills with a friendly, energetic approach to customer engagement Ability to perform patient assessment tasks with attention to detail and empathy Prior experience or familiarity with pediatrics is a plus, as you may assist customers of all ages Willingness to learn ICD coding procedures and support medical intake processes as needed Ability to work well in a team environment while maintaining professionalism and enthusiasm This paid entry-level role offers a fantastic opportunity to jumpstart your career in healthcare sales and audiology support.
