Job Description
Category Schools - Teacher of the Deaf / Hard of Hearing - Telehealth Job Type Contract A contract opportunity is available for an experienced Teacher of the Deaf/Hard of Hearing specializing in teletherapy services. This role provides consultative support to two students requiring specialized assistance through telehealth methods, totaling approximately 8 hours per month.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver consultative support and specialized instruction to students with hearing impairments via teletherapy. Collaborate with educational staff to develop and implement individualized plans tailored to students' needs. Monitor student progress and adjust approaches to maximize learning outcomes. Communicate with families and school personnel to provide guidance and resources related to deaf/hard of hearing education. Document services provided and maintain compliance with educational standards and confidentiality guidelines.Desired Qualifications:
Certification or licensure as a Teacher of the Deaf/Hard of Hearing. Demonstrated experience in teletherapy delivery of educational services to students with hearing impairments. Strong communication skills suited for virtual instruction and collaboration. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively within a contract framework. Knowledge of educational technology platforms commonly used in telehealth.Location:
