Job Description

Category Schools•Deaf / Hard of Hearing Specialist Job Type Contract We are seeking a dedicated Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) Teacher to support high school students for the 2026-2027 school year. This role offers the opportunity to provide specialized instruction and support within a collaborative, student-focused educational environment.

Monday•Friday, 7:45 AM•2:45
PM CST Hours:
Full-Time Student Population:
High School Setting:
In-Person Only Pay Rate:
$40•45 per hour
Responsibilities:
Provide specialized instruction to students who are deaf or hard of hearing Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Adapt curriculum and instructional materials to meet student needs Collaborate with general education teachers, interpreters, and support staff Support students' communication access and academic success Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with state and federal guidelines
Requirements:
Active certification in Deaf and Hard of Hearing education required Previous experience working with high school students preferred Strong communication and collaboration skills Ability to adapt instruction to meet diverse learning and communication needs Must be comfortable working fully onsite If you are passionate about supporting students who are deaf or hard of hearing and want to make a meaningful impact, we encourage you to apply.
