Audiology Specialist Hendrick Health - 3.6 Abilene, TX Job Details Full-time 14 hours ago Qualifications Microsoft Word Computer operation Spreadsheets Word embeddings High school diploma or GED Driver's License Data entry Office phone management Full Job Description • Responsible for checking in patients; answering front office phone; scheduling patients; authenticating insurance; reviewing patient benefits; and maintaining accurate schedule for audiologists. Independently prepares hearing aid orders; receives hearing aid deliveries; and verifies/authenticates hearing aid orders. Routes hearing aids to audiologists with accurate documentation. Acts as a mentor to Audiology Technician I and II and assists audiologists as directed in patient preparation; discharge; and hearing aid troubleshooting.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Minimum Education High school or equivalent Minimum Work Experience 1 year CMA or audiology office Required Licenses/Certifications Valid Texas Driver's License required only for individuals identified as HMC Designated Drivers per policy Required Skills; Knowledge; and Abilities Answer telephones Data input Diagnostic equipment Personal computers Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel
