GALLERIA OFFICE Location:
Houston Galleria-area 77027 Full-time, 40 hours per week
Schedule:
Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30
PM Environment:
Fast-paced audiology clinic,
Primary Patient Population:
Adults Position Summary We are seeking an Audiology Assistant to support our audiology team in a busy, fast-paced clinical setting. This role is ideal for someone who is organized, patient-focused, and comfortable working with adults in a high-volume environment. The Audiology Assistant will help ensure smooth daily clinic operations, support patient care, and assist the audiologists with administrative and clinical tasks. The right candidate will be dependable, professional, positive, and able to work efficiently while maintaining excellent customer service. Responsibilities
  • Welcome and assist patients in a professional and friendly manner.
  • Prepare the clinic rooms for audiology appointments.
  • Assist with adult hearing evaluations and follow-up visits as directed by the audiologist.
  • Provide new hearing aid orientations
  • Clean, check, and maintain hearing aids and clinical equipment.
  • Perform basic troubleshooting and service support for hearing aids.
  • Document patient information accurately in the electronic health record.
  • Schedule appointments and help manage daily clinic flow.
  • Answer phones, respond to patient questions, and provide general support.
  • Assist with product ordering, inventory, color changes and clinic supplies.
  • Support the audiologist with administrative and clinical tasks as needed.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work area.
  • Manage loss and damage hearing aids, repairs, contracts.
  • Manage walk-in patients
  • Handle inbound and outbound shipping of hearing aids and supplies.
  • Follow clinic policies, confidentiality standards, and infection control procedures. Qualifications
  • Previous experience as an Audiology Assistant
  • Independent and self-motivated work ethic
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced setting and manage multiple priorities
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Comfortable using computers and electronic medical records
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Professional, dependable, and patient-focused Skills
  • Knowledge of hearing aids, hearing aid maintenance, and basic troubleshooting
  • Familiarity with audiology clinic workflow
  • Experience with scheduling software and electronic health records Physical Requirements
  • Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods.
  • Ability to assist with clinic setups and patient support tasks.
  • Manual dexterity and adequate vision needed for handling small hearing aid components and equipment. Why Join Us?
