Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Audiology Technician to support ENT hearing services and ensure high-quality patient care and accurate hearing evaluations throughout the hearing healthcare experience. In this clinical role, you will assist providers and audiologists with hearing tests for ENT appointments, hearing aid support, device troubleshooting, and patient education. Your work will help ensure patients receive precise testing, compassionate care, and exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate is highly organized, attentive to detail, and passionate about patient care and hearing health. This role requires strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with both providers and patients to deliver a seamless and professional clinical experience. Duties Perform a variety of hearing tests including pure-tone audiometry, speech audiometry, and tympanometry to assess patients' auditory function. Assist with patient intake by collecting medical histories, explaining procedures, and ensuring patient comfort throughout testing. Support ENT specialists with routine procedures, including ear examinations and balance assessments. Maintain accurate records of test results, update patient charts, and ensure proper documentation aligned with medical terminology standards. Utilize physiology knowledge to interpret test data and identify abnormal findings requiring further evaluation. Provide exceptional patient service by addressing questions, explaining procedures clearly, and ensuring a positive testing experience for pediatric and adult patients alike.

Skills Strong understanding of anatomy and physiology related to the ear, nose, throat, and related systems. Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to audiology and ENT practices. Experience with patient assessment techniques, including evaluating hearing thresholds and balance function. Familiarity with occupational health protocols to ensure safe testing environments for staff and patients. Ability to effectively communicate complex information in a clear, compassionate manner tailored to diverse patient populations including pediatrics. Proficiency in intake procedures, basic ICD coding practices, and medical record management. Demonstrated commitment to patient service excellence with attention to detail in all aspects of testing and documentation. Pay:
From $19.00 per hour
