Histology Supervisor

Overview:

The Histology Supervisor makes sure the histology lab runs smoothly while also meeting high-quality standards.

Responsibilities:

Oversee Lab Work

• Handle tissue processing, cutting, staining, and making slides for research and diagnosis. Lead & Train the Team
• Get new employees up to speed and make sure everyone knows what they're doing. Improve Processes
• Update workflows, troubleshoot problems, and ensure top-notch quality. Ensure Compliance
• Follow all safety and industry regulations (CAP, CLIA, etc.). Keep Things Organized
• Manage specimens, maintain records, and properly handle hazardous materials.

Requirements:

Education:

Bachelor's or Associate's degree in science.

Experience:

At least 3 years in histology and 1 year in leadership. Strong attention to detail, process improvement experience, and ability to train others.

Bonus:

Certification (HT or HTL from ASCP) and experience with digital pathology are a plus.
