job summary: Join a top-tier global pharma leader in South San Francisco as an Associate Scientist. This is an incredible opportunity for an early-career scientist to join a high-performing Translational Safety & Risk Sciences team. Operating 100% onsite in a state-of-the-art pathology lab, you will play a vital role in developing specialized tissue-based assays to advance life-changing therapeutics.

South San Francisco, California job type: Contract salary: $28.00 - 30.33 per hour work hours: 9 to 5 education: Bachelors responsibilities: Execute Immunohistochemistry (IHC) staining and operate advanced auto-stainer instrumentation. Perform high-resolution tissue scanning and precise image handling. Manage laboratory documentation and electronic notebooks with meticulous detail. Provide critical workflow support to pathology and scientific teams. Collaborate on general laboratory execution to ensure seamless daily operations.
qualifications:
Required:
Hands-on Immunohistochemistry (IHC) laboratory experience BS or MS in a relevant scientific field
Preferred:
Biotech or Pharma industry experience Experience operating instrument-based IHC platforms Exposure to image analysis workflows #LI-RA1 skills:
