Send job Job Details Job DescriptionHistology Technician / Histotechnologist A healthcare organization is seeking a Histology Technician or Histotechnologist to join their laboratory team on a full-time permanent basis .
Position Details:
Full-time permanent position Multiple shift options may be available Competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits package Supportive pathology and laboratory team environment Opportunities for professional growth and advancement
Responsibilities:
Prepare and process tissue specimens for microscopic examination Perform embedding, microtomy, staining, and coverslipping procedures Maintain laboratory instruments and ensure proper quality control procedures are followed Accurately document and label specimens Follow laboratory safety, quality assurance, and compliance standards Work closely with pathologists and laboratory staff to support diagnostic services
Requirements:
ASCP certification preferred or required for many positions Associate degree or completion of an accredited Histology program preferred Previous histology laboratory experience preferred Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced laboratory environment Qualified candidates are encouraged to apply for immediate consideration.
