Role Overview As a Histologist, you will be responsible for all phases of tissue processing, supporting accurate and timely diagnostic services within the pathology department.

Key responsibilities include:

Performing all phases of tissue processing from fixation to final slide Performing special stains and histology techniques Maintaining files, records, and documentation required by state and federal licensing boards Cleaning and maintaining laboratory equipment and instruments Stocking and maintaining laboratory supplies Performing other duties as assigned Qualifications

Education Required:

High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)

Preferred:

Technical program completion or degree Associate's degree in a related field Education specialization in Histotechnology Experience Laboratory‑related experience preferred Licensure /

Certification Required:

ASCP Certified Histotechnician Preferred:
