    • Job Summary
    • Responsible for all phases of tissue processing from fixation to final slide, including special stains and techniques, maintains all files, records, and documentation required by state and federal licensing boards, cleans and maintains equipment and instruments, stocks and maintains supplies and performs other duties as assigned.

    • , you will support accurate and timely diagnostic services within the pathology department through high‑quality histologic preparation and laboratory practices.
    • Key responsibilities include:
    • + Performing all phases of tissue processing from fixation to final slide + Performing special stains and histology techniques + Maintaining files, records, and documentation required by state and federal licensing boards + Cleaning and maintaining laboratory equipment and instruments + Stocking and maintaining laboratory supplies + Performing other duties as assigned
    • Qualifications
    • Education
    • Required:
    • + High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)
    • Preferred:
    • + Technical program completion or degree + Associate's degree in a related field + Education specialization in Histotechnology
    • Experience
    • + Laboratory‑related experience preferred
    • Licensure / Certification
    • Required:
    • + ASCP Certified Histotechnician
    • Preferred:
    • + ASCP Certified Histotechnologist
