13 Weeks Compensation $40/hour $16/hour W-2 Pay $24/hour Tax-Free Stipend $1,600 Weekly $640 Weekly W-2 Pay $960 Weekly Tax-Free Stipend Schedule 8-Hour Day Shifts Monday•Friday 7:00 AM•3:30 PM 40 Guaranteed Hours Per Week 5 Shifts Per Week Position Overview Northside Hospital Atlanta is seeking an experienced Histotechnologist for a 13-week travel assignment in the NS Urology Lab. The ideal candidate will have experience performing histology procedures, preparing tissue specimens, and supporting accurate diagnostic testing in a fast-paced laboratory environment. Responsibilities Process, embed, section, and stain tissue specimens according to laboratory protocols. Perform routine and special staining procedures. Ensure specimen integrity and quality throughout the histology process. Operate and maintain histology laboratory equipment. Follow all laboratory safety, quality control, and regulatory standards. Collaborate with pathologists and laboratory staff to ensure timely and accurate results. Maintain accurate documentation and records. Requirements Current Histotechnologist (HTL) or Histotechnician (HT) certification preferred. Previous histology laboratory experience required. Experience with tissue embedding, microtomy, staining, and specimen preparation. Strong attention to detail and quality standards. Ability to work independently and as part of a laboratory team. Additional Information No local candidates within 50 miles of the facility will be considered. Travel experience preferred. Immediate start available for qualified candidates.
