Education:

Associate's degree in science with at least two (2) years of full-time experience in histopathology within the last five (5) years OR Successful completion of an accredited histotechnology program, registry eligible OR Bachelor's degree with one (1) year of full time experience in histopathology within the last five (5) years.

Licensure:

Certification as a registered HT or HTL by the American Society of Clinical Pathologists (ASCP) preferred.

Experience:

Dependent upon level of education acquired

Skills:

Knowledge of histologic theory, practices, and standards Skills in cellular evaluation and interpretation Skill in oral, written and interpersonal communication Skill in basic computers Skill in basic mathematics, data analysis and problem solving Ability to operate and maintain basic laboratory equipment. Ability to prioritize work, organize and transfer data accurately.

Physical Requirement:

Requires manual dexterity, good visual acuity, including color perception Able to stand or sit for long periods of time Some heavy lifting up to 30 pounds Pay Range $27.32 - $44.80 Final salary offer will be based on the candidate's qualifications, education, experience and alignment with our organizational needs.
