Summary:
Experienced, qualified applicants are eligible for a $6,500 Sign-on Bonus.

This bonus will be prorated for Part Time or Per Diem positions.

Please note this bonus is not available to currentMaineHealthemployees or prior employees that have been separated for less than 6 months.

The Histotechnologist role is responsible for performing and monitoring anatomic pathology processes, recognizing and resolving issues. Responsible for the accuracy, documentation and required instrument maintenance. Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
Education:
Bachelor's degree required
License/Certifications:
Certification as Histotechnologist by a recognized professional organization (ASCP/National Society) for Histotechnology required within six months of hire. QIHC (Qualification in Immunohistochemistry) preferred. Valid Driver's license required.
Experience:
Six months of Anatomic Pathology experience required.
Additional Skills/Requirements Required:
May be asked to work at other sites/locations as needed.
