Monday-Friday Afternoon Shift:

3:00 PM - 11:30 PM 40 Hours/Week (5x8s)

Job Summary:

Seeking an experienced Histology Technician to perform routine histology procedures on surgical, autopsy, research, and neuropathology tissue in a fast-paced laboratory environment.

Responsibilities:

Cut and prepare tissue using rotary microtome. Embed, stain, coverslip, and label tissue slides. Perform special stains under supervision. Maintain laboratory instruments, reagents, and supplies. Monitor QC/QA and CAP documentation. Follow laboratory safety and quality standards.

Requirements:

4-5 years of histology experience required. HT or HTL Certification required. BLS Certification required. Associate or bachelor's degree in related science field preferred. Strong attention to detail and laboratory skills.

Preferred:

HT (ASCP) certification preferred.
