In this vital role, you will prepare and process tissue specimens for microscopic examination, supporting diagnostic and research activities. Your expertise will contribute to accurate disease diagnosis, scientific discovery, and patient care. The ideal candidate is passionate about laboratory work, possesses strong knowledge of anatomy and pathology, and thrives in a fast-paced environment committed to precision and quality. Responsibilities Prepare tissue specimens through fixation, embedding, sectioning, staining, and mounting using established laboratory techniques. Accurately label, document, and track specimens throughout all processing stages to ensure traceability. Maintain strict adherence to aseptic techniques and safety protocols to prevent contamination and ensure specimen integrity. Operate and troubleshoot laboratory equipment such as microtomes, cryostats, stainers, and microscopes with precision. Collaborate with pathologists and research teams to interpret specimen requirements and deliver high-quality slides for analysis. Record detailed documentation of procedures, observations, and results in laboratory information systems. Support quality control measures by monitoring reagent quality, equipment calibration, and compliance with regulatory standards. Qualifications 4 -5 years of Histology tech experience.
