RESPONSIBILITIES
- Histotech Produce high quality slides for Mohs surgeons. Mohs frozen section preparation
- mapping, labeling, grossing, inking, embedding, sectioning, staining and cover slipping Permanent section preparation
- grossing, labeling, processing, embedding in parrafin, sectioning, staining and cover slipping Proper organizing and storage of slides Routine maintenance and cleaning of histology equipment and materials Use automated equipment and instruments including microscopes, microtomes and other lab equipment.
- Assist with pathology lab entries into pathology module
- Maintenance and documentation as required by CLIA Other duties as assigned Qualifications Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field
- Prior experience with Mohs horizontal frozen sections and/or working with biopsy specimens in dermatology is ideal but not required Work Schedule Full Time Hours
- Typically M-F hours
- Springfield and Branson offices
