What You'll Do:

Prepare tissue sections for pathological examination, including fixation, dehydration, embedding, sectioning, and staining Process and cut tissue blocks using microtomes and cryostats Perform decalcification, micro-incineration, and mounting of tissue specimens Prepare dyes, chemical solutions, and stains such as H&E, IHC, and special stains Assist in the preparation of frozen sections and other diagnostic procedures Maintain and operate histology laboratory equipment such as tissue processors and stainers Collaborate within a team to process an average of 500 blocks per night

What You Need:

Valid ASCP-HT certification (preferred) or

ASCP-HTL

certification (preferred) Minimum 2 years of histology laboratory experience, including IHC techniques Experience with tissue processing, embedding, microtomy, and staining procedures Strong knowledge of laboratory safety and quality control practices Ability to work night shifts, prioritize tasks, and work as part of a team About the
