Full-time, Benefit Eligible Responsibilities:

Perform embedding and preparation of slides for routine H & E and special stain procedures Conduct scheduled preventative maintenance and document activities Identify and address troubleshooting needs for processing, embedding, cutting, and staining Work in a fast-paced laboratory setting with biological and chemical hazards Ensure safety, compliance, and quality control standards

Requirements:

Experience in microtomy and embedding Minimum of 1 year of laboratory training or experience in high complexity testing High School diploma or equivalent required; Associates or Bachelors of Science degree preferred Completion of a histotechnology program preferred Certification as a histotechnician (HT) or histotechnologist (HTL) by ASCP preferred State licensure, if applicable
