- Path Lab (LMC) Pay Rate Type Hourly Pay Grade Health-26 Scheduled Weekly Hours 40 Work Shift Job Description Key Responsibilities Prepare, process, and embed tissue specimens for microscopic examination by the pathologist Perform microtomy, staining, and coverslipping with a strong focus on quality and consistency Partner with pathologists to support diagnostic workflows and special requests Ensure accurate and reliable results by strictly adhering to established quality control programs Conduct routine instrument checks and preventive maintenance in accordance with departmental policies Maintain detailed records, logs, and statistical data to meet regulatory and accreditation standards Train and mentor new employees and students on laboratory procedures and best practices Provide flexible support across shifts to ensure seamless lab operations You'll work in a collaborative, mission-driven environment where your technical expertise directly impacts patient outcomes.
