Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Histology Technician, where you will play a vital role in preparing and processing tissue specimens for diagnostic and research purposes. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced laboratory environment, utilizing your expertise in laboratory techniques and anatomy knowledge to support accurate disease diagnosis and scientific discovery. Your meticulous attention to detail and commitment to quality will ensure the integrity of specimens and contribute significantly to patient care and research advancements. Duties Prepare tissue specimens through grossing, processing, embedding, sectioning, staining, and mounting using precise histological techniques Collect, process, and handle biological specimens with strict adherence to aseptic techniques and laboratory protocols Maintain accurate documentation of specimen processing steps, labeling, and storage in compliance with medical terminology standards Perform routine quality control checks on equipment and reagents to ensure optimal laboratory performance Support pathology investigations by preparing slides for microscopic examination and collaborating with pathologists or researchers Experience Prior clinical laboratory experience with a focus on histology or pathology is highly preferred Laboratory experience involving tissue processing or specimen analysis is advantageous Demonstrated knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and pathology principles relevant to tissue examination Hands-on experience with laboratory procedures such as fixation, dehydration, infiltration, embedding, sectioning, staining, and mounting tissues Familiarity with medical terminology used in pathology reports and laboratory documentation Strong understanding of laboratory safety practices including aseptic technique and infection control measures Join us to contribute your expertise in a collaborative environment dedicated to advancing health sciences. Pay:
