Certified Histotechnician Abilene, TX Job Details Full-time 1 day ago Qualifications Histological laboratory techniques HT Certification Specimen collection / processing Mid-level Associate's degree Full Job Description Cuts; stains; and studies specimens of human tissue to provide data on the functioning of tissues and organs; causes and/or progress of disease; following established standards and practices. The certified histotechnician performs all procedures required to obtain slides from fixed and unfixed tissue and fluids to enable a pathologist to render a diagnosis.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Minimum Education Associates degree or equivalent. Minimum Work Experience 1 year Required Licenses/Certifications HTL (ASCP) within 6 months of hire Required Skills; Knowledge; and Abilities
