• High School Diploma or Equivalent is required
• Associate degree preferred
• Prior experience in a clinical laboratory, histology laboratory or gross setting preferred.
• 6 months' experience in pathology specimen receipt, processing, and handling. Specialized tissue handling, and assisting pathologists with gross, tissue preparation, and bone marrows are highly preferred.
• Phlebotomy experience is highly preferred for this position. Phlebotomy duties will be performed on a daily basis. What You Will Do Follows laboratory procedure for specimen collection, handling, and processing.
