Full-time, On-site About DTR Labs DTR Labs is a rapidly growing, pathologist-led histopathology CRO supporting preclinical and translational research programs across biotechnology and pharmaceutical clients. Our team works across a broad range of therapeutic areas, including oncology, immunology, CNS, and cell and gene therapy. With laboratories in both Dallas, TX and Medford, MA, we provide high-quality histology, immunohistochemistry, digital pathology, and pathology support with a strong emphasis on responsiveness, scientific collaboration, and fast turnaround times. Position Summary DTR Labs is seeking a skilled Histotechnician to join our Dallas laboratory team. This is a hands-on role supporting routine histology workflows for preclinical research studies. The ideal candidate is highly organized, technically strong, and comfortable working in a fast-paced CRO environment with changing priorities and diverse study types. Responsibilities Perform routine histology procedures including tissue processing, embedding, microtomy, H&E staining, and coverslipping Prepare high-quality paraffin sections from a variety of tissue types and species Maintain laboratory equipment and troubleshoot routine technical issues Assist with slide scanning and digital pathology workflows Accurately document laboratory activities and maintain organized study records Collaborate closely with pathologists and laboratory leadership to meet study timelines Help maintain a clean, organized, and efficient laboratory environment Qualifications ASCP certification preferred 2+ years of histology laboratory experience preferred Strong microtomy and embedding skills required Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to work independently while contributing positively to a collaborative team environment Prior CRO experience is a plus What We Offer Competitive compensation Opportunity to grow within a rapidly expanding company Exposure to diverse preclinical research programs Close interaction with pathologists and scientific leadership Collaborative and team-oriented culture DTR Labs is an equal opportunity employer.
