If you want to find purpose through service to others, you've come to the right place. We're looking for an On Demand Direct Support Professional to join our team in Kenai/Soldotna, Alaska. Hope Community Resources, Inc. is a non-profit disabilities service provider based in Anchorage, Alaska. Founded in 1968, our company provides services and supports to people of all ages and abilities who experience an intellectual, developmental, or other disability, traumatic brain injury, or mental health challenge. As our On Demand Direct Support Professional, you will provide compassionate care helping support recipients meet their life goals. You may be assigned to work in the comfort of a support recipient's home or an assisted living site, or out in the community. Everyday we'll rely on you to teach activities of daily living to foster social independence. To thrive in this role, you should be passionate about helping people experiencing disabilities and comfortable with personal care. We'll teach you everything else you need to know. Position Details The ideal candidate can work in multiple settings, with multiple people, and support varying needs in a day Multiple schedules are available, based on Agency need and staff availability

  • Sun, 32 hours guaranteed Part time w/ benefits (may include day shifts or night shifts, depending on need) Mon

  • 40 hours Full Time (any day, all hours, depending on need) Must have a driver's license, reliable car, valid insurance, and be willing to transport clients to activities around town.
We reimburse 50 cents per mile. Requirements
DSP Caregiver Requirements:
High school diploma or GED required.
