Direct Support Professional

Living Water Family Home is seeking a dependable and energetic Direct Service Provider (DSP) to support a highly active individual in the Wasilla area. This role focuses on community engagement, supervision, and positive support , rather than personal care. The ideal candidate is patient, active, and enjoys staying busy , as the client benefits from structured activities and community outings.

Responsibilities:

Provide supervision and positive behavioral support Participate in community outings, walks, recreational activities, and structured routines Encourage engagement in safe and meaningful activities Transport client to community activities when needed Maintain a safe and supportive environment Document services and daily activities

Requirements:

Must be 18 years of age or older Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Current CPR certification (or willingness to obtain) Must pass a background check Ability to stay engaged with a high-energy individual Experience with developmental disabilities or behavioral support is a plus but not required

Schedule:

Part-time hours. Flexible hours but Tuesday evenings required for a specific client activity
