Duties Assist individuals with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support using equipment like Hoyer lifts when necessary Monitor residents' health by taking vital signs, observing patient conditions, and reporting changes promptly to healthcare teams Prepare nutritious meals aligned with care plans and dietary needs while maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment Administer medications accurately following HIPAA regulations and care protocols under supervision or as trained Support residents with memory care needs such as Alzheimer's or dementia by implementing specialized care strategies and ensuring their safety Maintain detailed documentation of care provided, incident reports, and updates to individual care plans in compliance with privacy standards Engage residents in social activities and community outings to promote socialization and mental stimulation Requirements Prior experience working in group homes, assisted living, nursing homes, or home health environments is highly preferred Knowledge of patient observation techniques, medication administration, and vital signs monitoring is essential Certification in CPR and First Aid is required; additional certifications such as HIPAA training or hospice care are advantageous Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and operate assistive devices like Hoyer lifts or wheelchairs effectively Strong communication skills to collaborate with healthcare teams, residents, families, and community partners Compassionate attitude with a genuine desire to support individuals with disabilities or age-related conditions Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorder, or memory impairments is highly valued Join us to empower individuals through dedicated caregiving that emphasizes dignity, independence, and quality of life.
