This vital role offers an energetic and rewarding opportunity to provide compassionate, personalized assistance in various settings such as assisted living facilities, group homes, or clients' private residences. Your enthusiasm and commitment will help promote independence, dignity, and well-being for those you serve. All positions are paid, ensuring your valuable contributions are recognized and rewarded. Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility support Monitor patient health by observing vital signs, reporting changes, and maintaining accurate care records in compliance with HIPAA regulations Support medication administration and help implement individualized care plans tailored to each client's needs Prepare nutritious meals and assist with meal planning to promote healthy living Operate equipment such as Hoyer lifts or transfer devices safely to support mobility and prevent injury Maintain a clean and safe environment through regular cleaning, sanitation, and organization of the living space Provide emotional support and companionship to enhance social engagement and mental well-being Prior experience in home health, assisted living, nursing home, or group home environments is highly preferred Knowledge of patient observation techniques, vital signs monitoring, and basic nursing skills such as CPR and first aid certification Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorder, dementia (including Alzheimer's and memory care), or hospice care is advantageous Ability to perform physical tasks including heavy lifting and assisting with transfers using equipment like Hoyer lifts Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations to ensure confidentiality and privacy of patient information Excellent communication skills for collaborating with healthcare teams, patients, families, and social workers Valid certifications in CPR and first aid; additional certifications related to dementia or hospice care are a plus Embark on a fulfilling career where your compassion fuels positive change.
