Direct Support Professional

Job Overview We are looking for reliable employees to provide direct care for the members in our group homes. We currently serve the developmentally disabled population in our homes. We are looking for team members to assist in transportation to appointments, medication administration, daily tasks such as cooking and assisting members with chores, and assisting in the daily routines of our clients. The DSP primary responsibility is to provide support and care for the members living in the home and to maintain a safe environment. DSP assist the members by directing interactions, including but not limited to behavioral management, and by facilitating recreational and social life skills activities. Hiring for the following shifts 7am-3pm 3pm-11pm 11pm-7am

Weekdays and Weekends Full-Time and Part-Time Requirements/Trainings :

Valid Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card, CPR/First Aid, Article 9 Training, Prevention & Support Training, Valid Arizona Driver's License Duties Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support using equipment like Hoyer lifts when necessary Monitor residents' health by taking vital signs, observing patient conditions, and reporting changes promptly to healthcare teams Support medication administration following HIPAA guidelines and care plans to ensure safety and compliance Prepare nutritious meals and assist with meal planning in accordance with dietary restrictions or preferences Maintain a clean and safe environment through regular cleaning duties and sanitation practices in accordance with health standards Engage residents in social activities and community outings to promote socialization and mental stimulation Document care activities accurately while respecting residents' privacy and confidentiality Experience Prior experience working in group homes, assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home & community care settings is highly preferred Knowledge of patient observation techniques, dementia care (including Alzheimer's and memory care), hospice care, and autism support is advantageous Hands-on experience with patient monitoring tools such as behavioral measurement and medication administration is desirable Experience in long-term care environments demonstrating patience, empathy, and strong caregiving skills is essential Understanding of HIPAA regulations to protect patient privacy during all aspects of care Join us as a Direct Support Professional if you're passionate about making a positive impact through compassionate caregiving.
