Job Overview Join our compassionate team as a Personal Care Assistant / Medication Technician, CNA, or Caregiver, where your dedication makes a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals needing support with daily activities and medical care. In this vital role, you will provide personalized assistance to seniors , ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. Your expertise will help foster independence while delivering essential care in various settings such as our assisted living facility. This paid position offers a rewarding opportunity to grow your caregiving skills and positively impact lives every day. Duties Assist residents or clients with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Administer medications accurately following prescribed instructions and document all medication administration in medical records books Monitor vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration to ensure patient stability Support patients with specialized needs such as catheter care, and Alzheimer's or dementia care Maintain detailed medical documentation and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect patient confidentiality Collaborate with healthcare teams to coordinate patient care plans using systems for seamless communication Provide emotional support and companionship to enhance overall quality of life for individuals with developmental disabilities or those receiving hospice or memory care Skills Proven experience in assisted living, nursing homes, hospitals, or home care environments with a strong understanding of physiology and anatomy Knowledge of medication administration protocols, and medical documentation standards Skilled in performing clinical tasks such as catheter care, vital signs monitoring Ability to work effectively with individuals experiencing dementia or other cognitive impairments within memory care settings Compassionate caregiving skills combined with excellent communication and teamwork abilities Understanding of HIPAA compliance and best practices for maintaining patient privacy and confidentiality Join us in providing exceptional care that empowers individuals to live healthier, happier lives. Pay:
$18.00 - $19.00 per hour
