Position Summary As a Caregiver/Home Health Aide, you will provide personalized, non-medical home care services that promote clients' independence, dignity, and quality of life. You will assist clients with both Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) and Instrumental Activities of Daily Living (IADLs) while providing companionship and emotional support in a respectful and professional manner. Essential ResponsibilitiesActivities of Daily Living (ADLs) Assist with bathing, showering, and personal hygiene Assist with dressing and grooming Oral hygiene assistance Toileting and incontinence care Ambulation and mobility assistance Transfers using gait belts, Hoyer lifts, and other assistive devices (as needed) Positioning and range-of-motion exercises Feeding assistance and meal setup Medication reminders (non-medical) Monitor and report changes in the client's physical or mental condition Instrumental Activities of Daily Living (IADLs) Meal planning and meal preparation Light housekeeping and household organization Laundry and linen changes Grocery shopping and running errands Transportation to medical appointments and community activities (when authorized) Assistance with scheduling appointments Companionship and social engagement Safety supervision and fall prevention Dementia and Alzheimer's care support Encourage participation in daily routines and recreational activities Additional Responsibilities Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services provided. Communicate effectively with supervisors, clients, families, and healthcare professionals. Follow individualized care plans and company policies. Maintain client confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations. Provide compassionate end-of-life support when assigned. Promote a clean, safe, and healthy home environment. Attend required training and staff meetings. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED preferred Previous caregiving, home care, assisted living, or nursing home experience preferred but not required Home Health Aide (HHA), Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Personal Care Assistant (PCA), or Direct Support Professional (DSP) experience is a plus Experience caring for seniors, individuals with disabilities, Alzheimer's disease, or dementia preferred Current CPR and First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain) Reliable transportation with a valid driver's license and current auto insurance (if transporting clients) Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screening Ability to lift, push, pull, and transfer clients safely (up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation) Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills Professional, dependable, compassionate, and respectful attitude What We Offer Competitive pay Flexible scheduling (Full-Time, Part-Time, and PRN positions available) Paid training and continuing education opportunities Supportive management team Career advancement opportunities Employee recognition programs Meaningful work that positively impacts the lives of others Why Join Luving Hands Home Care?
