This position offers an engaging opportunity to apply your caregiving skills in diverse settings, including home care, assisted living facilities, group homes, and hospice environments. Responsibilities Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support using equipment like Hoyer lifts or transfer belts. Monitor patient health by taking vital signs, observing changes in condition, and reporting findings accurately to healthcare professionals. Prepare nutritious meals tailored to dietary needs and assist with feeding when necessary to ensure proper nutrition. Administer medications following prescribed care plans while maintaining compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect patient privacy. Support patients during outings or community activities to promote social engagement and independence. Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and organizing personal spaces. Document care activities meticulously in accordance with agency protocols and update care plans regularly to reflect evolving needs. Qualifications Prior experience in home health care, assisted living, nursing homes, or group homes is highly preferred. Ability to pass a background check is required. Certification in First Aid and CPR is required; additional training in Alzheimer's care, dementia care, hospice care or working with individuals with developmental disabilities is a plus. Strong patient observation skills to identify changes in condition or behavior promptly. Ability to lift heavy objects safely and assist with transfers using equipment like Hoyer lifts or resident's . Knowledge of medication administration procedures and vital signs monitoring. Excellent communication skills for collaborating with clients' families and healthcare teams while maintaining confidentiality under HIPAA guidelines.
