Direct Support Professional opportunities available

Job Summary We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Direct Support Professionals to provide high-quality care and assistance to individuals with developmental disabilities, and those requiring specialized behavioral health support. The ideal candidate will be committed to person-centered care and possess a strong understanding of health and safety protocols. Duties Assist individuals with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Provide medication administration and monitor vital signs in accordance with care plans Support residents with meal preparation, cooking, and nutritional needs Implement and follow individualized care plans tailored to each person's needs Assist with patient observation, monitoring behavioral changes, and reporting concerns promptly Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment through light cleaning duties Engage residents in social activities to promote mental health and community involvement Document care activities accurately while adhering to HIPAA regulations Collaborate with healthcare teams including nursing staff, social workers, and family members Experience Prior experience working in DDD group homes, for at least 1 year. Knowledge of patient care procedures including CPR, First Aid, Seizures, and HIPAA compliance required or willing to obtain training upon hire Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or autism spectrum disorders highly desirable Familiarity with medication administration, care planning, and patient monitoring is advantageous Previous roles involving Alzheimer's or dementia care, hospice or long-term care experience are a plus Strong interpersonal skills with patience and empathy for working with diverse populations including individuals with disabilities and challenging behaviors. Must have Prevention and Support, Article 9, First Aid and CPR certification.
