The ideal candidate will assist individuals with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort and well-being. This role is crucial in delivering high-quality care to seniors and individuals with disabilities, including those with dementia. Responsibilities Provide personal care assistance, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting. Assist clients with mobility and transfers, ensuring safety while lifting or repositioning. Observe and report changes in clients' conditions to healthcare professionals. Document patient care activities accurately and timely in medical records. • Knowledge of HospiceMD Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance the quality of life for clients. Qualifications Previous experience in senior care or as a Home Health Aide is preferred but not required. Knowledge of dementia care practices is a plus. Strong patient observation skills to recognize changes in health status. Ability to assist with daily living activities while maintaining dignity and respect for clients. Proficiency in medical documentation practices. Certification in CPR is highly desirable. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with clients, families, and healthcare teams. Must be reliable, compassionate, and possess a strong desire to help others.
