401(k) Flexible schedule Job Summary We are looking for a Home Care Aide to join our team! You will be directly working with patients, following a one-on-one care plan in patient homes. You operate with a big heart, not only providing personalized and attentive care, but by building genuine relationships with those you serve. You are detail-oriented, highly organized, and committed to creating a healthy environment that meets patient needs. Strong verbal and written communication skills are needed to succeed in this role. Prior Home Health or Hospice experience is a plus. Reliable transportation a MUST Responsibilities Assist patients with daily activities such as moving in and out of beds, baths, wheelchairs, or automobiles Care for patients by changing bed linens, doing laundry, cleaning the home, or assisting with personal care Maintain records of patient care, condition, progress, or problems to report and discuss observations with supervisor Build relationships with patients by conversing or reading aloud to help keep them mentally healthy and alert Do the clients shopping or accompany them when they shop Engage patients in activities Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency Plan and prepare meals with assistance from the client (when they are able) Skills High School Diploma or GED Proven experience as a caregiver Excellent knowledge of emergency response and first aid (CPR) Willingness to adhere to health and safety standards Respectful and compassionate Good time management skills Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills Strong ethics Physical endurance Schedule Flexible Monday to Friday Weekends as needed Shift Availability Day shift (preferred) Ability to commute / relocate Reliable transportation Willing to commute or planning to relocate (required) All caregivers are required to wear a mask and be FULLY vaccinated with Covid-19 vaccine.
