P.A.I.N.T.

(Promoting Arts, Individuals & Natural Talents) is a non-profit art based day program for adults with intellectual disabilities.

What we do:

We continually provide fun and exciting opportunities for our participants to explore and experiment with a wide variety of art forms and mediums. We help them create a body of work that they are proud of. We assist them in self-expression and in reaching their creative goals. We also focus on taking our participants on community outings to see local art exhibits and to gather art inspiration from local events throughout the bay area. We also have activities such as lifeskills, social outings... Etc.

Qualifications:

No experience is necessary , but having a good work ethic and a kind heart are essential. We are looking for individuals with a creative skill that they would love to share with others. Lead and facilitate group activities lasting up to two hours, ensuring participant engagement and inclusion Demonstrate initiative and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to build rapport with participants and the team Provide hands-on personal care support, including toileting, hygiene, and grooming, to participants as needed, ensuring dignity and respect Ensure participant safety through mobility assistance and active supervision to participants as needed Encourage independence and participation in daily activities Maintain a consistent, person-centered approach in all interactions

Requirements:

Clean driving record and have had a drivers license for 2 years or more. Our staff members transport participants to and from the program. Mileage reimbursement is provided when transporting participants in personal vehicles. High School Diploma Must have full availability Monday through Friday 8am - 3pm.
