family in Carlsbad, CA (92010) is seeking a reliable and compassionate IHSS Provider to support a 30-year-old Female with Intellectual Disability and Autism Spectrum Disorder.

Schedule:

Monday - Friday Approx. 20 hours per week Morning shift: 5:00 AM - 9:00 AM (4 hours/day)

Responsibilities:

The provider will assist with morning routine and preparation for their day program, including: Encouraging female adult to wake up for the day Supporting personal hygiene (toothbrushing, grooming, hair brushing) Helping select and assist female adult to put on clothing and shoes Encouraging independence during tasks Preparing or assisting with breakfast and light duties Supporting transition out of the home to the vehicle for day program picking them up Requirements Must be an IHSS-approved provider (or willing to enroll) Punctual and reliable (must provide notice if unable to attend shift) Reliable transportation (driving outside the home typically not required) Experience with developmental disabilities preferred Ability to assist with personal care and light physical support Compassionate, patient, and positive ("can-do" attitude) Pay Rate $20.40/hour (pay rate is determined by the standard hourly wage set by the San Diego County) How to Apply!
