Personal and Community Support Attendant Supreme Caregiving Chico, CA Job Details Part-time $22 an hour 2 hours ago Benefits Mileage reimbursement Qualifications Disability support services Teamwork Working with individuals with disabilities Tube feeding Driver's License Full Job Description Support Role - Helping a Young Adult Thrive We are currently seeking dependable, animal-friendly individuals who are passionate about supporting people with disabilities in living meaningful, self-directed lives. This opportunity involves working with a dynamic, non-speaking young adult in Chico, CA, and being part of a supportive team focused on growth, independence, and connection. Position Overview This role centers around building independence and expanding opportunities for a young adult through a collaborative, team-based approach. As part of the support team, you will provide individualized assistance based on the client's strengths, preferences, and goals.
Responsibilities include:
Supporting communication through assistive communication devices (AAC) Assisting with daily care needs, including G-tube feeding Helping facilitate participation in community outings and social experiences Encouraging exploration of interests and new activities Assisting with mobility, transfers, and toileting (experience with incontinence support is a plus) Creating a supportive, respectful, and empowering environment Collaborating creatively to help bring the client's ideas and goals to life What We're Looking For A genuine interest in supporting individuals with disabilities Patience, flexibility, and a creative mindset Strong communication and relationship-building skills Valid driver's license with a clean driving history Ability to safely assist with transfers (100+ lbs using equipment) Dependability and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team Why This Role Is a Great Fit Make a direct and meaningful impact in someone's life Be part of a collaborative and supportive team environment Gain hands-on experience in disability services and related fields Flexible scheduling with a rewarding day-to-day experience Valuable exposure for those pursuing careers in healthcare, therapy, education, or related fields How We Work We focus on a collaborative approach that respects the client's voice and promotes independence.
