Job Overview:

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to join our weekend team. In this role, you will support individuals with diverse needs, helping them live as independently as possible while ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being. This is a paid weekend-only position where your efforts directly enhance the quality of life for our residents.

Responsibilities:

Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility Monitor health by taking vital signs, observing conditions, and reporting changes Administer medications safely and maintain HIPAA compliance Prepare meals, assist with cooking, and maintain clean living areas Use equipment like Hoyer lifts and safely perform physical transfers Document care activities accurately, including observations and incidents Support residents during outings or community activities

Qualifications:

Experience in group homes, assisted living, nursing homes, or home & community care preferred Knowledge of CPR, first aid, memory care, autism support, or working with disabilities is a plus Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting and using assistive devices Strong communication and observational skills Certification in CPR or first aid is desirable; ongoing training provided
